What Is Mending Fences?
Mending Fences is Trinity Fence & Deck’s new community-driven collaboration initiative – a simple, heartfelt way for local businesses to join us in serving neighbors who need a helping hand.
Sometimes a fence repair goes beyond lumber and nails. It’s about safety. It’s about dignity. It’s about helping a family feel secure and supported. And in Central Texas, we believe those things are worth showing up for – together.
As a mom of eight, I know exactly how quickly life can shift and how hard it can be to plan for big, unexpected expenses. Fences aren’t small purchases – they’re costly, they’re essential for safety, and they often fail at the worst possible time. I understand what it feels like to stretch a budget, to prioritize what truly matters, and to make tough decisions when finances are tight. That’s why Mending Fences exists: because good families can fall on hard times, and every neighbor deserves security, dignity, and support when they need it most.
Why We Started This Initiative
As a family-owned, woman- and minority-owned business with deep local roots, we’ve seen firsthand the power of community.
When businesses unite around a shared purpose, the impact reaches far beyond a single project.
Mending Fences was created to bring that spirit to life – helping families where needed and building stronger, more connected neighborhoods throughout our community.
How Local Businesses Can Collaborate
Your company doesn’t need to be a fence builder to get involved.
If you serve homeowners, strengthen the community, or simply believe in giving back, there’s a place for you here.
Ways to Partner:
- Supply a branded yard stake during the project
- Offer a small care package for the homeowner (optional)
- Sponsoring materials or project supplies
- Join us on future community build days
- Offer discounted services aligned with your industry
- Share the initiative through your network or customer base
No pressure. No long-term obligations. Just meaningful, neighbor-focused collaboration.
