Even when the rivers rise, so does our community.
There’s something about Texans that you can’t quite explain until you’ve lived through the hard days with them. When the storms roll in, and this time, they came with force, we don’t just brace ourselves. We brace each other.
The recent floods that swept through Kerrville and the beloved grounds of Camp Mystic shook more than just riverbanks. They rattled memories, summer traditions, and sacred spaces built by generations of families. But as is always the case in Texas, what came pouring in as fast as the water… was help.
We’ve seen it before, and we’re seeing it again: boats launched before sunrise, strangers bringing meals to families they’ve never met, ranchers lending trailers, neighbors pulling debris. No press, no fuss, just grit, grace, and a get-it-done spirit that runs as deep as the love of Texas.
Because the heart of a Texan isn’t measured by acreage or toughness, it’s measured by how quickly they roll up their sleeves for someone else.
At Trinity Fence & Deck, we’ve always believed that building something great goes far beyond posts and planks. It’s about people. It’s about showing up. And it’s about honoring the kind of quiet heroism that makes this place what it is.
So today, we’re sending up prayers for those who lost cherished spaces, family keepsakes, and pieces of their peace. We’re also tipping our hats to the volunteers, the first responders, and the good folks who showed the best of who we are.
If you feel moved to help, we encourage you to reach out to local efforts and support drives in the Hill Country area. Every bag of supplies, every shared post, and every dollar counts.
Because when we face adversity, we rise together. Stronger. Better.
Stay safe, stay steady, and never underestimate the heart of this place we call home.
