Martina Kreitzer is the owner of Trinity Fence & Deck. Born in Houston and raised in Austin and East Texas, Martina is a fourth-generation Texan with deep roots. Practically born with a camera in hand, she has some amazing stories to tell, from photographing a football game at Texas Stadium, photographing our state governor, and being invited to participate in a tv show in the 90s called Name Your Adventure. Both she and husband Neil are deeply creative, his more musically, and has resulted in a family of creatives, from musicians to artists and product designers.
Origins Rooted in Family
Long before Trinity existed on paper, Martina focused on building something meaningful for her family. As her husband Neil’s career progressed, their skill sets began to overlap in ways that felt natural and complementary. Over time, it became clear that those shared strengths could serve not only their household, but others as well. Trinity Fence & Deck grew from that alignment. It was built for their family and shaped by the same service-driven approach Neil became known for throughout his career.
Building Community While Raising a Family
While Neil spent his days talking with homeowners about their fence and deck needs, Martina was at home managing the day to day of their ever-growing family. She felt a strong call to volunteer and found deep connection within a community of women who were also raising large families. Family size was never viewed as a limitation, but as an opportunity to grow, adapt, and serve in creative ways.
Much of that work took place at kitchen and dining room tables during years of homeschooling. Those seasons offered Martina’s daughters a real-life example of what it means to be present at home while also pursuing meaningful work beyond traditional roles. They saw that skills could be sharpened, projects could be built, and collaboration could happen wherever life unfolded, along with the basket of towels the toddlers often scattered.
A Broad Skill Set Shaped by Real Life
During those years, Martina developed a wide range of skills through writing, editing, content curation, and collaboration. She worked with organizations and companies within the blogging space while balancing creative work with the daily rhythms of family life. Conversations with readers often centered on ordinary moments that connect people, including shared questions like what’s for dinner. Those interactions built community through shared experience and encouragement.
Over time, Martina became known for helping others clarify their message and tell their story with intention. She approached storytelling practically, helping people distill who they are and what matters to them in a way that felt approachable and honest.
Bringing Those Skills Into Trinity
Today, Martina’s focus has shifted toward building Trinity Fence & Deck alongside her husband. Many of the skills developed over years of community leadership and creative work are now directly relevant to this new venture. Organization, communication, collaboration, and clarity all play a role in shaping how Trinity operates behind the scenes.
Martina continues to enjoy listening to people’s stories and helping them articulate what they need and want, whether that conversation happens around a kitchen table or during the planning stages of a home project. While the work looks different than it once did, the heart behind it remains the same.
A Shared Journey
Martina is grateful to build this business alongside her husband, recognizing that working together is a privilege not everyone experiences. Trinity Fence & Deck reflects that partnership, grounded in shared values, complementary strengths, and a commitment to serving others well. They both look forward to hearing from you and helping your project come to life!
